Description
Super Guppy Skin
Super Guppy Skin sections ready for conversion into wall art, clocks or handbags if you’re Christian Dior. This is genuine skin off the Super Guppy which in itself was a real RAF rarity. So sections of the fuselage are becoming very sought after. To make the sections we have even more unique we have the ‘angle of attack’ dial available on one section, every plane enthusiast who’s looked at our stock has been amazed we managed to acquire this part as there’s only one on what is a huge plane.
We have large sections available but this listing is for 1m sq of fuselage skin as it currently is. We would be happy to discuss any polishing or conversion work you’re interested in us undertaking for you, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
It is therefore ready to be metal polished should you want a shiny chrome finish. It is also ready to have the glass replaced with either perspex or glass. Suitable for use as a clock, twin mirrors or simply as wall art.
Available as seen but we also have finished versions of this if you don’t want to do the work.

GB Salvage offer a wide range of plane parts both to be converted and already converted and ready for use. You’ll find a diverse range of parts we’ve sourced from retired planes all across the UK and Europe. We find and buy aeroplane parts with the full intention of turning them into amazing pieces of furniture and lighting. Having only limited space and time we have to part with some great pieces. So here you’ll find components and muddy puddle finds right up to stunning finished furniture.
There’s almost no limit to the imagination when it comes to making use of parts of old planes. These days it’s all about unique and daring ideas and oversized industrial furniture. A few years ago a piece of aircraft fuselage wall art was really only for a board room or reception area, now it’s all the fashion at home. Even Taylor Swift was chopping up a plane in her latest music video.
