Star Wars Chair – Plane Cowling and Leather

We are delighted to offer this unique piece of plane cowling converted into a chair.  This particular piece of cowling originates from a DC9 and comes with quite a back story.

There were 5 of these, 4 went off to be a part of Star Wars and we bought the 5th to make a one off chair with.

This is why we’ve called it the ‘Star Wars Chair’, it looks and feels like it should be in the film and now you can own a piece of British Cinema (and aviation) history.

We think that the lumps and bumps are all part of the fun and have left the incredible purple colouring on the back of the seat as it was formed by the heat from the exhaust of the jet engine.

We have a fair few cowling’s that can be made into a variety of chairs and seating so if you have a particular requirement please get in touch.

A range of military parts sourced from the MOD ranging from a small cog right up to missile bases, bombs and 6m long fuel tanks. And we also specialise in modern era militaria but do have the odd antique gunsight for example on offer.

We convert and restore every item we can but occasionally have to offer our components for sale to generate space.  Therefore in this section you’ll find items we haven’t yet got to.  We’d love to discuss your project idea and can convert items to your specification.  We undertake work for private and commercial clients.
