Custom Pipe Ceiling Light

Welcome to our Custom Pipe Ceiling Light which came from a project we were commissioned.

We love a good bit of pipe work and feel it’s under utilised in the home for decoration and lighting so we were delighted to get asked to make a custom length with 3 pendants hanging from it.  So this then continued on with us designing our own range of pipe pendant lights and have been making them ever since.

We can make these pipe ceiling lights to any shape, size or colour finish you would like.  We make this as standard as a staight length of pipe with hanging pendants but this could also be a rectange or square to hang over a dining table or corporate space.  in terms of the lights we have a range of pendants to choose from and either warm white or cool white bulbs to choose from.

These work brilliantly in modern homes and in converted barns and industrial spaces.

For £350 our standard listing is for a 2m long length of pipe with 3 pendants and finished to your colour specification.

At GB Salvage, we specialise in industrial lighting salvage, refurbishment and resale.  We buy salvaged lighting and industrial lighting to refurbish for use in the home or business.

We find, restore and make unique lighting products and light fittings.  We convert all manner of interesting items into lighting products.  It could be called salvage or up cycling, but we just love making lights.

Over the years GB Salvage have become specialists in industrial and aeroplane furniture and lighting.  We also seem to attract large runs of heavy duty industrial lights ready for conversion to LED and re-spraying.

We also stock a lot of salvaged ships lights, being based in Plymouth, Devon.  These can be either ex military or civilian ships,

Our Lighting Conversions & Creations

Some of our creations have included mild steel pipework lighting, copper pipe jewellery and bedside lights.  In 2016 we even made a range of titanium pipe pendants from an aeroplane exhaust system.  We also convert items never meant to be lights into modern and unique light fittings.  We’ve made lights out of gramophone speakers, 747 engine casings, plane fuselage and missile or bomb bases we’ve acquired from the MOD.  There’s no limit these days to what can be up cycled, the more unusual and bonkers the better.
